Especially when taking reference notes as described in Doto, B (2024) A System for Writing
Because I have the reference note, hopefully laid out in a logical order, I can always return to the book and take more notes whenever I want. In the meantime, the notes on the portion I've already read can become main notes in my zettelkasten and be linked with other parts of my thinking.
